Julian Kingston as Kingston 

Mr. Kingston is a New York native that began his acting pursuits late in college while pursuing an engineering degree. After graduating, he began his training at New Federal Theatre by teachers such as Alice Spivak and Arthur French. Since then, he has performed in two productions by the Afrikan Women’s Repertory continuing to hone the craft on the stage. He is honored to be a part of SC Murray’s brilliant new production and excited to be sharing this compelling story of "The Kingdom of Kingston"

Jade Mason as Queen Sultana

Ms. Mason is an astonishing vibrant actress breaking out into the acting world. She’s bold, determined and unafraid to execute roles that are given to her. Jade has now completed projects within Modeling, Improv, Television/Film and as well as Theater and is truly excited about what’s to come.

Steven L. Smith  as David

Hailing from Reading, Pennsylvania, Steven L. Smith relocated to New York City to obtain his career in the performing arts, honing his craft first with The Barrow Group prior to beginning with The Thomas G. Waites Acting Studio where he now studies. Most recently, Steven was cast as the great patriarch, Ham in "The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World" and he will be performing in SC Murray’s Summer LOVE Theatre Festival as King Ba Tu in “The Kingdom of Kingston”. Alexandra Peters-Hepburn​ as Madame Grace

Alexandra is a Haitian-American Singer/Actress. She has received honorable mention in the New York Times and Backstage magazine. Jeremiah 29:11

Carlos Chancay as The Governor

 Carlos “Jorwin” Chancay was born in Venezuela but raised in Brooklyn. He graduated with his BA in Business Administration and worked in a homeless shelter. He quickly realized his true passion is with the arts through performance. He quit his job in April 2019 and declared he would live the rest of his life pursuing his passion. He has been in a movie, a commercial, a student film, and a short film since.

AnJu Hyppolite as Tychell

AnJu Hyppolite is an actor, writer, and educator who works at the intersection of theater arts, literacy advocacy, and social equity. She has devised and performed with The Seven Ravens Project, an NYC-based ensemble that explores sociopolitical issues of child migration, refugees, and displacement. AnJu was last seen on stage as 11-year-old Jenny in Amina Henry's Rent Party.

Manuel Estevez as Baron

Mr.  Estevez is a New York based actor. I graduated from Queens College with a BFA in Theater and Political Science. Theater: Dark Play or Story for Boys, Undone, The Bear, Romeo and Juliet.

Tara Bennett as Aisha

Ms. Bennett is extremely proud to be joining the cast of "The Kingdom of Kingston". Tara is also known for her roles as Alice In Chasing the White Rabbit and Juror #3 in 12 Angry Jurors. Tara studied Theatre & Cinema at University of Missouri-St.Louis. She is an avid painter and loves to write short stories. Tara wishes to thank her family and friends for loving and supporting her in following her dreams. She would also like to thank the talented director SC Murray for the opportunity and for her creative direction.

Misael Romano as Prince Othniel

Mr. Romano is a fresh new face to the Theatre world anticipating to take the stage for the first time. He believes that his passion together with his hard work will break down walls and set no limits to what he can accomplish in this business.

LOVE SET THE STAGE FOR ICU’S PREMIERE

For many, theatre is the pulse of this city. Many high-budget, big productions light up Broadway and dazzle theatergoers. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the power of theatre does not exist exclusively on the stages of Broadway. You can witness the power of theater on small stages, with simple sets, with friends, family and strangers.

Over the weekend, SC Murray premiered her new play ICU at the Actors Temple Theatre, and almost immediately I could feel the power of Sweet2theSoul’s intimate production. It brought a crowded room together to enjoy the work of artists, to reflect, and to explore a love story that evoked laughs, gasps, and contemplation.
